Decedent was working for the employer as a flight attendant when his flight crashed in New York City in November 2001, causing his death. Claimant and decedent had been domestic partners for approximately 21 years prior to that time. They owned an apartment together, jointly held bank accounts and investments, designated each other as executors and beneficiaries on various legal documents and registered as domestic partners...
