Appellant Teri Simmons, the Chief of Police for the Town of Double Oak, Texas, appeals the trial court's grant of a writ of mandamus in favor of appellee Stephen Kuzmich that compels Chief Simmons to produce specified records and information to Kuzmich pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act (TPIA), formerly known as the Open Records Act.
