Opinion by Justice SUE LAGARDE (Retired).

In this State's appeal, we must decide whether the trial judge reversibly erred in granting appellee David Wayne Jones's motion to dismiss for failure to provide him a constitutional speedy trial. Applying the appropriate standards, we conclude the trial court reversibly erred. Accordingly, we reverse the trial court's order of dismissal with prejudice and remand this case to the trial court with instructions...
