Defendant-appellant Imauri Ivery ("Ivery") pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1) and was sentenced to 180 months in prison under the Armed Career Criminal Act ("ACCA"), 18 U.S.C. § 924(e). The plea was conditioned on Ivery's retention of the right to appeal the denial of his motion to suppress a firearm and ammunition police recovered while searching Ivery's vehicle...
