I. INTRODUCTION

Greg Vroman was fired from his job with the Soldotna Police Department. He now seeks to vacate an arbitration decision affirming his termination, arguing that the City of Soldotna did not properly select its arbitrator. Because the de facto officer doctrine conferred validity on the arbitration even if the arbitrator had not been properly select, we affirm the decision of the superior court...
