Chad Bartos was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, see 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1), and possession of a stolen firearm, see 18 U.S.C. § 922(j). Bartos seeks a new trial, arguing that his convictions were tainted by three alleged errors: an evidentiary ruling that was outside the judge's discretion, the judge's improper coercion of a witness into retracting testimony that was favorable to the defense, and...
