On the morning of May 29, 2003, Maine State Police Trooper Thomas Fiske ("Fiske") went to the residence of Appellant Christopher Lawlor ("Lawlor") to investigate a report of a gunshot and an altercation between two men at the house, one of whom proved to be Lawlor.
