Michael Campbell appeals the district court's denial of his K.S.A. 60-1507 motion. Campbell contends that counsel appointed for the non-evidentiary hearing was ineffective, and that the district court improperly denied him an evidentiary hearing and failed to provide findings of fact and conclusions of law as required by Supreme Court Rule 183(j) (2004 Kan. Ct. R. Annot. 221). We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand with directions for further proceedings...
