¶ 1 Kaziah May Hancock and Cindy Stewart (collectively Plaintiffs) sued the True and Living Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of the Last Days (the Church) and various associated individuals (collectively Defendants), alleging that they had both given substantial sums of money to the Church and had not received promised benefits in return.
