A jury convicted appellant, Jared Lloyd Shanklin, of murder and assessed his punishment at 60 years in prison. We determine (1) whether appellant's defense counsel rendered ineffective assistance of counsel during the guilt-innocence and punishment stages of trial and (2) whether the trial court improperly admitted the trial prosecutor's affidavit at the hearing on appellant's motion...
