BILL VANCE, Justice.

Nathan Kniatt was charged with possession of methamphetamine. On December 11, 2001, he entered a plea of guilty. In accordance with a plea bargain agreement, the trial court deferred adjudication of guilt, placed Kniatt on community supervision for three years, and assessed a fine of $3,000.
