DONALDSON v. STATE

No. 1D05-0297.

895 So.2d 1220 (2005)

Edrick DONALDSON, Petitioner, v. STATE of Florida, Respondent.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

February 28, 2005.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Nancy A. Daniels, Public Defender, P. Douglas Brinkmeyer and Judith Hall, Assistant Public Defenders, Tallahassee, for petitioner.

Charlie Crist, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for respondent.

PER CURIAM.

Edrick Donaldson petitions this court for certiorari review of an order finding him competent to proceed with respect to pending criminal charges. He complains that at his competency hearing, the trial court considered only the testimony of the two experts appointed by the court pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.210(b), and refused to allow defense counsel to present or even proffer the testimony of a third expert who had examined him.
