Following a trial by jury, Defendant, Sammie Davis, was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, in violation of La.R.S. 40:967(A)(1). He was sentenced to twenty years at hard labor to run consecutively to any sentence he might be serving at the time of the present conviction.
