Following a jury trial, the defendant, Howard C. Liner, was convicted of armed robbery (720 ILCS 5/18-2(a)(1) (West 2000)) and home invasion (720 ILCS 5/12-11(a)(1) (West 2000)) and sentenced to concurrent terms of 20 years in prison. On appeal, the defendant argues that the evidence at the trial was insufficient to convict him and that he was denied a fair trial due to the prosecutor's misconduct. We reverse and...
