¶ 1. This appeal was brought under the Post-Conviction Relief Act in the Circuit Court of Stone County, Mississippi. Eric Jermaine Thomas pled guilty to the crime of aggravated assault on February 23, 1996, and was sentenced to twenty years, suspended, and placed on probation for five years.
