Faye Gary, a lieutenant with the Gadsden Police Department, sued the City of Gadsden and Richard Crouch, in his individual capacity and in his official capacity as the Chief of Police for the Gadsden Police Department. Lt. Gary alleged claims of defamation and invasion of privacy against Chief Crouch and a claim of negligence against the City.
