The defendant, Xhema Construction, Inc., appeals from the judgment of the trial court awarding the plaintiff, Conn Acoustics, Inc., $39,093 in damages, plus costs and interest, on its breach of contract complaint. The court also found in favor of the plaintiff on the defendant's counterclaim. On appeal, the defendant claims that the court improperly applied the parol evidence rule to exclude evidence of the circumstances surrounding the making of the parties...
