¶ 1. Johnny Lee was charged with two counts of attempted rape under Mississippi Code Annotated § 97-1-7 and one count of statutory rape under Mississippi Code Annotated § 97-3-65(1)(b). On August 7, 2003, he was convicted on all three counts.
