In September 2003, following a bench trial, the trial court found defendant, Eugene Hunter, guilty of possession of a substance containing cocaine (720 ILCS 570/402(c) (West 2002)). In November 2003, the court sentenced defendant to 24 months of probation with various terms and conditions. One condition was that defendant submit to genetic testing pursuant to section 5-4-3(a)(3.5) of the Unified Code of Corrections...
