SULLIVAN, Justice.

While serving time as an inmate in the Bartholomew County Jail, Undray L. Knighten attacked an officer, causing injury to the officer's ankle such that he had to use crutches for several weeks. A jury convicted Knighten of aggravated battery, a Class B felony, and resisting law enforcement, a Class D felony, and found him guilty of being a habitual offender.
