The defendant, Erica M. Bowers, was charged by bill of information with the armed robbery of Calvin Brown, a JCPenney store employee, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. After a jury trial, the defendant was found guilty as charged. The trial court denied the defendant's motion for new trial.
