This is a very unusual petition for habeas corpus filed by Gregory Thomas, the petitioner, on or about February 1, 2002 claiming that he has been wrongly classified as a sex offender by the warden of the state prison, the respondent, even though he was acquitted of a sexual assault charge by a jury.
