The Harrisburg Area School District (School District) appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County (common pleas) denying its motions for post-trial relief and entering judgment on a jury verdict in favor of Thurston Wells, Jr., a former student in the School District who severely injured his hand when using a table saw during a woodshop class.1
