¶ 1. Stephen Carpenter pled guilty to statutory rape in the Circuit Court of Leake County, Mississippi. He was sentenced to a term of three years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections one year suspended, with two years to serve, followed by five years of post-release supervision, and ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $1,500 and court costs.
