This is an appeal of a summary judgment granted Josie Miller under section 458.320 of the Florida Statutes (2002) against Parkway Regional Medical Center to recover the "minimal financial responsibility amount" of $250,000 on a $1.4 million medical malpractice judgment Miller had previously received against Dr. Mario Nanes, a neurosurgeon with staff privileges at Parkway. We are also presented with a cross-appeal by Miller on the grounds that $20,000...
