Defendant appeals from his convictions for manufacture, distribution, and possession of a controlled substance, ORS 475.992(1), (2), and (4), challenging the denial of his motion to suppress evidence. Specifically, defendant argues that the warrantless entry by police into his house, and then into his garage where a marijuana growing operation was located, was not justified under (a) the "emergency aid" doctrine; (b) the community caretaking statute...
