The defendant, Haymon B. Adams, was charged by grand jury indictment with two counts of distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance ("CDS"), a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967, and two counts of distribution of a Schedule I CDS, a violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966.
