PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. On November 17, 2003, a jury sitting before the Forrest County Circuit Court found Marvin Beckum, Jr. guilty of robbery. The circuit court sentenced Beckum, a habitual offender, to thirty years without the possibility of parole.
