In 1992, a Laurel Circuit Court jury convicted Appellant, Ronnie Lee Bowling, of two counts each of murder, burglary in the first-degree, and robbery in the first degree. The trial court accepted the jury's penalty recommendations, imposing two death sentences for the murder convictions, and four consecutive twenty-year terms for the remaining convictions.
