¶ 1. On May 28, 2001, Kenny Reed was indicted for the offense of aggravated assault against Ms. Mary Ford, in violation of Mississippi Code Annotated § 97-3-7(2)(b) (Rev.2000). On June 3, 2001, Reed pled guilty to the charge and was sentenced to a term of twelve years imprisonment in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
