Appellant Marcellus Taylor was indicted on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder while armed, in violation of D.C.Code §§ 22-2401, -3202 (1996),1 but was convicted of the lesser-included charge of second-degree murder while armed, and two weapons offenses. He contends on appeal that the trial court erred in (1) in admitting prior consistent statements and other testimony from government witnesses...
