STEWART, J.

The defendant, Kathleen Jennings, was found guilty as charged of second degree murder and sentenced to mandatory life imprisonment without benefits. In this out-of-time appeal, the defendant challenges the admission into evidence of three conflicting oral statements given by her to the police in the hours following the crime. She contends that her statements were not free and voluntary considering her mental state, her lack of understanding as to her rights...
