A jury found defendant guilty as charged of distribution of cocaine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:967 punishable by imprisonment for not less than two years nor more than thirty years, to be served without benefits for the first two years. The court imposed a sentence of fifteen years, with the first two years to be served without benefits, and denied a timely motion for reconsideration of sentence.
