Kim Darby Saenz pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute marijuana. At sentencing, the government moved, pursuant to USSG § 5K1.1 and 18 U.S.C. § 3553(e), to reduce her sentence below the applicable sentencing guideline range of 63 to 78 months and the statutory minimum sentence of 60 months.
