¶ 1. In May 1996, Billy and Barbara Jo Walker authorized Ringgold Timber Company, Inc. to cut trees located on their property. However, the land in question was actually owned by John Boutwell. Upon learning that Ringgold had commenced cutting trees on his land, Boutwell advised Ringgold that the particular property did not belong to the Walkers and therefore Ringgold should cease from operations...
