¶ 1. George Jackson was convicted of armed robbery by a Harrison County jury. He was sentenced as a habitual offender to forty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Jackson now appeals and asserts that: (1) the trial court erred in allowing the State to peremptorily strike a black juror because of the juror's religious beliefs, (2) he received ineffective assistance of counsel, (3) a delay in his appeal...
