A grand jury indicted Defendant Zaheer Ul Islam, a native of Pakistan, for marriage fraud in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1325(c).1 Specifically, the grand jury charged Defendant with knowingly entering into a marriage with Angelle Charlene Herbert for the purpose of evading a provision of the immigration laws.
