The defendant, Alfred Buckner, was convicted of burglary (720 ILCS 5/19-1(a) (West 2002)) and sentenced to six years' imprisonment. On appeal, the defendant argues that the trial court erred in ordering him to wear an electronic security belt as a restraining device without first making a finding of necessity pursuant to People v.
