¶ 1. Jessie D. Boyett, Jr., pleaded guilty in the Circuit Court of DeSoto County to rape, and aggravated assault on a police officer. He was given consecutive sentences of thirty and twenty years, respectively, in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
