The State of Nebraska filed an application for leave to docket an appeal under Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-2315.01 (Reissue 1995). The issue is whether a district court, when sentencing a defendant, must advise and provide written notification of the requirements of Nebraska's Sex Offender Registration Act (the Act), Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-4001 et seq.
