Jonita Anderson and Raymond Deas had a child together in Maryland. After moving with the child to Georgia, Anderson filed a petition in the Superior Court of DeKalb County charging Deas with acts of family violence. She alleged that he had committed the criminal offenses of terroristic threats and stalking through statements he made to her and the child in telephone calls from another state.
