This appeal presents the question whether an insurance company, by giving a notice of renewal of an automobile policy containing a "union mortgage clause" to a lienholder, provided a separate and independent insurance of the lienholder's interest that would survive the lapse of the underlying policy caused by the insured's failure to pay the renewal premium.
