LOKEN, Chief Judge.

Antonio Slater was the passenger in a car stopped by police officer Jeffrey Perry at a sobriety checkpoint in Independence, Missouri. During the stop, Officer Perry asked Slater for identification. Slater complied. When a computer check revealed an outstanding arrest warrant, Perry arrested Slater. A search incident to the arrest uncovered a loaded revolver in Slater's pocket. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation...
