FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. Rheno Patterson served in the U.S. military during the Korean War. During that service, particularly 1950 or 1951, Mr. Patterson purchased a life insurance policy. Rheno and Melba Patterson married on January 23, 1957.
