Justice BAER.

This is a direct appeal from the judgment of sentence of death1 following the third conviction of David Chmiel (Appellant) for three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of robbery, and one count of burglary2 arising out of the murder of three victims, Angelina, James, and Victor Lunario, on September 21, 1983.
