MEMORANDUM OPINION RE: DEFENDANT'S COMPETENCY AT TRIAL

READE, District Judge.

Defendant Eddie Louis Denton, Jr. ("Denton"), having been convicted by a unanimous jury of participating in a drug conspiracy that spanned the years 1996-2001 and awaiting sentencing, seeks an order from this court finding that at the time of trial he was incompetent to assist in his own defense, setting aside the verdict and committing him to a federal medical facility.
