Carol Wnuk became interested in purchasing Larry Garner's 50 percent interest in a tract of land jointly owned by Garner and Leta Doyle. Garner entered into a written contract to sell his interest to Wnuk. Complications ensued, however, and Wnuk's purchase was not closed before the expiration date set forth in the contract.
