¶ 1 In Washington, unemployment compensation benefits may be denied to an employee who voluntarily leaves work without cause. RCW 50.20.050. Donald Bauer was terminated from his employment when he lost his commercial driver's license due to his commission of two serious traffic offenses. That does not constitute a "voluntary quit" under the statute. The statute does not provide for disqualification from benefits for a "constructive voluntary quit...
