Justice McNULTY delivered the opinion of the court:

John Vasey decided, contrary to his attorney's advice, not to appeal from a final judgment the trial court entered against him in a case he brought against an insurance company. The attorney, who had agreed to accept a contingent fee for representing Vasey, sued Vasey to recover the reasonable value of the services he had provided. The trial court dismissed the attorney's complaint. The attorney now appeals. We find...
