Fabian Lafuente was convicted by a jury of attempting to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, possessing with intent to distribute cocaine, and possessing a firearm with an altered, removed, or obliterated serial number. He was sentenced to 300 months' imprisonment. Lafuente appeals his conviction, arguing that his trial counsel had labored under a conflict of interest due to her representation of a different defendant in another case....
